Dear Governor Scott:
Earlier today, West Melbourne Deputy Mayor John “Coach” Tice was arrested by the Brevard County
Sheriff’s Office for financial crimes. This is a serious case of government corruption as the money
Deputy Mayor Tice is alleged to have stolen was procured by a Melbourne City Councilwoman from
City of Melbourne taxpayers and funneled through a patriotic and veteran’s organization. To have our
nation’s heritage and the sacrifice of our veterans used in this manner is particularly disgusting.
As the State Representative representing the lion’s share of West Melbourne residents, and on behalf of
my constituents, I am requesting that you immediately suspend and/or remove Deputy Mayor Tice from
office.
