REO Speedwagon Tour 2017 Production At A Glance This document is for 2017 headline tour dates in the U.S. & Canada only. Production Manager: Michael Richter (619) 277-2614 cell mrichterproduction@sbcglobal.net What we have: • One fully loaded semi • Two tour buses • Complete band gear • Complete monitor system • FOH audio console & effects • Audio snake • A set (inclusive of marley, risers and steps) • Merchandise • Some floor lighting & a backdrop What we need: • A clear clean stage free of any and all obstructions when we arrive to unload our truck (i.e. house consoles should be struck to make room for our equipment prior to us unloading our truck) • Stagehands-14 at load in and 16 at load out to unload our truck and 1electrician to tie in shore power for our buses (if it’s available) • 4 spot operators for show call • At least 4 deckhands for show call if there is a support act on the bill • One English speaking runner with a LARGE CLEAN car from load in to load out with a cell phone • Audio-stacks and racks to properly cover the venue, front fills, a drive rack and system techs to deal with it • Power for our backline and board groups (via camlocks stage left) • Lighting rig per our plot with system techs • 3 clean dressing rooms with private bathrooms and showers (with HOT water in them) • 1 Production office with high speed internet access (preferably hard wired), a phone line, two tables, four chairs and power • Catering-Hot meals (B-14, L-14, D-21) dressing room catering, stage drinks, after show food & bus stock per our rider (all to be discussed with Michael Richter) • Lots of ice for the buses • Showers (if not in the venue then 2 hotel rooms will need to be provided to us to use for showers) • 4 dozen bath towels • 2 dozen hand towels for the stage (dark colored if possible but not mandatory) • 12 bars of bath soap   1   Notes loryo - We may require a crowd control barricade it depends on the type oi venue (Please discuss this with Michael Richter during the advance so a decision can be made) - Please be aware that we require a high quality slage' PA and lighting system, not "just enough to get by". - We cannot accommodate any opening acts on our audio consoles Arty opening act FOH audio and monitors must be provided tor separately by you - We are fine with DJ's or yourseli making onstage announoements but they must happen at least is minutes prior to the scheduled stait time otthe show We do not want the band introduced but you may say "coming up soon" is REO Speedwagon It you intend to do this please give me ample advance warning so I can let my sound guys know it needs to be dealt with - lithe show is oulslde' be sure to have at least three tutl rolls otvisdueen (plastic sheeting) and six 10 x10 pop--up tents available ior our use - liwe can get access to the venue 1 hour prior to load in time tor showers we would really appreciate it We have monitor world and 1 large guitar world stage lett. We have two large guitar worlds stage right. Please make sure the dimmers are as iar upstage right (and preteraoly oitstage) when possible Please have your caterer contact me directly as we make changes to the bus stock on a regular basis to cut down on waste (We preter they shop tor the buses on the day ot the show atter we generate a list oi things we ACTUALLY need) I would like to meet with your head ot security prior to the doors opening to go over our pass system and some specific things that we like to see happen (and not happen ior that matter) lwitl advance all things technical with you as well as security and catering.
