March 30, 2018 Dear Homeowners of Lisa Drive: As you have been previously notified, Sunoco Pipeline L.P. (SPLP) is preparing to begin additional investigations in connection with its ongoing analysis of the subsurface in the HDD area of Lisa Drive, which is currently scheduled to begin on Friday, March 30, 2018 and may take up to approximately 4-6 weeks. To alleviate any inconvenience to you, SPLP has offered to relocate you and provide a per diem reimbursement for food for the duration of the scheduled work, which offer remains open to any homeowner to accept throughout the duration of the scheduled work. In response to your inquiries regarding the investigation being conducted, as well as the scope and anticipated schedule to complete the work, the following is a description of the investigation done to date, as well as a description of the additional data collection work necessary to complete the analysis of the subsurface. When completed, SPLP will determine the need for any remedial work. Investigation work done to date: SPLP has conducted preliminary geophysical investigations within the ME-1 and ME-2 right of way starting from the railroad tracks and heading south to the exit point of the drill, in order to determine the potential for subsurface anomalies and additional areas that should be investigated further. The preliminary investigations do not indicate any impacts from the subsurface area to any of the homes along Lisa Drive. Additional Geotechnical Data Collection Work: • Beginning March 30, 2018, SPLP will begin preparatory work by installing plastic mats within the work area to protect the ground from equipment rutting. No work will be conducted on Saturday, March 30 or Sunday, April 1. Preparatory work is expected to be completed on Monday, April 2. • Upon completion of preparatory work, small excavations will be completed approximately every 35 feet along the ME-1 pipeline area to confirm pipeline location and to install markers for reference during additional geotechnical studies. This work is anticipated to be completed during the week of April 2-6. • Also during the week of April 2-6, geotechnical data collection activities will begin, including the use of small auger drills to obtain core samples to identify subsurface voids, if any, in the area. Upon completion of the above work, and to the extent additional investigation work and/or any remedial work is determined necessary, SPLP will provide an updated scope of additional work with an anticipated work schedule.
