religion, and politics:
ancient and modern)

Chowk, previously
the center of the
Muslim imperial city
of Shahjahanabad,
founded in mid-17th
century by Emperor
Shah Jahan, and
now a vibrant
commercial street.
The walk ends at
India’s largest
mosque, Jama
Masjid. We will
have the
opportunity to do
puja at a Hindu
temple on route.

Rd.). Seminar session
with journalist Mr. Prasad

politics and globalization
(2-3:30 PM). Followed by
Indian-American student
meet-up with exercise in
collaborative cross-cultural
solutions to issues
students identify at local,
national, and international
level in US and India
(3:30-5 PM).

Sachin Banushali,
CEO of Gateway Rail
Freight Limited
speaking about
leadership in Indian
business sector. His
company led the way
as one of the first
private freight firms in
the previously
nationalized railway
freight business. Mr.

knowledge about
Indian transportation
and globalization, but
his insights on Indian
culture, religion, and
politics should also be
tapped with your
questions!
