Special Regulations for the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area Order No. EO 18-18 The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission ofthe State ofFlorida, acting under the authority of Article IV, Section 9, ofthe Florida Constitution, hereby establishes, by order, special regulations for the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area (WMA). These special regulations are necessary due to inordinately low water levels associated with the abnormally dry conditions that have jeopardized wildlife and their associated habitat. The special regulations are as follows: (1) Motorized vehicles, off-highway vehicles, swamp buggies/tracked vehicles, and airboats are prohibited in that portion of the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor WMA designated Water Conservation Area 3A North. Canals and associated boat ramps remain open to public access for fishing. (2) Any provisions ofRule 68A- 15.064, F.A.C., which are inconsistent herewith, are hereby superseded.
