Elmwood & McBride Resident Meeting FAQs – April 26, 2018 1. Why are you closing Elmwood & McBride on June 30th? As was explained to families at the April 10, 2017 meeting with residents, the living conditions at Elmwood & McBride are no longer safe for residents and they continue to deteriorate. The cost to repair the units and site is not affordable. Relocation is the best option to protect the health and safety of residents.
