As a senior executive at the USO, your work may include issue education, issue advocacy, and lobbying, among other activities. As a condition of your employment in an appointee position, you signed an Ethics Pledge based upon Executive Order 13770, ?Ethics Commitments by Executive Branch Appointees.? Paragraph 3 of this Ethics Pledge states that you agree not to engage in any lobbying activities with respect to any covered executive branch of?cial or non-career Senior Executive Service appointee for the remainder of the Administration. Section 3(a) of this Executive Order states that Executive Branch appointees may receive ?a waiver of any restrictions contained in the pledge.?
