Probable Cause Statement BPD RECEIVED A 911 CALL FROM A RESIDENCE WITHIN THE BUCKEYE CITY LIMITS. VICTIM ADVISED THAT HER BOYFRIEND /DEFENDANT HELD A KNIFE TO HER EYE AND MADE HER DRINK A WHITE LIQUID, WITH WHITE RESIDUE, FROM A CUP .THE VICTIM ADVISED THAT SHE REFUSED TO DRINK AND THE DEFENDANT STABBED HER IN THE LEG AND SLICED/CUT HER THROAT WITH THE KNIFE. DURING INITTIAL INTERVIEW WITH THE VICTIM, SHE STATED MULTIPLE TIMES THAT SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE. SHE ASKED THE DEFENDANT IF SHE COULD WRITE A NOTE TO HER NINE YEAR OLD SON TO SAY GOODBYE. THE VICTIM STATED THE DEFENDANT WAS ALSO ARMED WITH A MICRO DRACO AK ASSAULT RIFLE AND HAD IT WITH HIM WHILE THEY WERE INSIDE THE CLOSET. THE DEFENDANT TOLD THE VICTM MULTIPLE TIMES HE WAS GOING TO KILL HER AND WOULD NOT GO BACK TO PRISON, HE WOULD SHOOT IT OUT WITH POLICE. OFFICERS OBSERVED A CUT TO HER NECK AND ALSO A STAB TO HER LEG AND BOTH HAD DRIED BLOOD ON THE WOUND LOCATIONS. VICTIM SAID SHE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO DRINK THE LIQUID AND LATER WOKE UP THE NEXT DAY SOMETIME. VICTIM WAS BOUND WITH DUCT TAPE INSIDE HER MASTER BEDROOM CLOSET. VICTIM ADVISED THAT SHE WAS ASLEEP FROM 1130 PM ON 06/04/2018 AND LATER WOKE ON 06/05/2018 AT 2125 HOURS AND ABLE TO FORCE HERSELF FROM THE LOCKED CLOSET WHILE DEFENDANT WAS IN SHOWER AND RAN OUTSIDE TO A NEIGHBOR FOR HELP. POLICE WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE AND FOUND THAT THE DEF HAD FLED IN HER VEHICLE TO PHOENIX. VICTIM ADVISED THAT HE TOOK HER DEBIT CARD AND REMOVED 300.00 DOLLARS CASH FROM AN ATM MACHINE. THIS CASH AND DEBIT CARD WERE LATER FOUND IN THE DEFENDANTS WALLET WHEN HE WAS TURNED OVER TO THE BUCKEYE PD FROM THE PHOENIX PD. DEF WAS LATER ADVISED OF HIS MIRANDA WARNINGS AND HE/DEF SAID UNDER MIRANDA THAT HE TIED HER UP AND SECURED HER HANDS WITH TAPE. HE FURTHER SAID THAT HE PLACED A LOCK ON THE CLOSET DOOR AND KEPT HER IN THE CLOSET AGAINST HER WILL. DEF ADDED THAT HE DID STAB HER LEG AND CUT HER THROAT, AND ALSO ADVISED THAT HE USED HER CREDIT CARD WITHOUT HER PERMISSION AND OBTAINED 300 DOLLARS AT THE ATM. WHILE THE VICTIM WAS LOCKED INSIDE THE CLOSET, THE DEFENDANT LEFT THE RESIDENCE TO PURCHASE METHAMPHETAMINE. THE DEFENDANT STATED THAT HE SMOKED METH INSIDE THE MASTER BATHROOM AFTER HE RETURNED. THE DEFENDANT WATCHED PORNOGRAPHY WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF METHAMPHETAMINE. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT A GLASS METH PIPE WAS FOUND INSIDE THE MASTER BATHROOM DURING POLICE INVESTIGATION. THE DEF WENT OVER ALL THAT OCCURRED AND IT WAS A SPOT ON MATCH AS TO WHAT THE VICTIM DESCRIBED. HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE MCSO 4TH AVE JAIL, CENTRAL BOOKING, FOR AN INITIAL APPEARANCE. D3.
