Vehicle Notes

On January 11, 2017 Officer Huffaker and I were on duty driving north on US 101. During that time we
observed a silver Dodge sedan vehicle, CA licens~ traveling in front of us.
During the next 1.5-2 miles we paced the dodge's speed at 76-75 MPH. The maximum speed limit on US 101
from Geyserville is 65 MPH.
Due to the violation of CVC section 22349 (a), we conducted a traffic stop on the dodge.
I made contact with the driver who was identified as California resident

his front seat passenger New Jersey resident Konstanti Charalidis DOB: 06-29-1982.
Upon contacting the vehicle I smelled the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle. While
- w a s exiting so that I could speak with him he admitted to driving his vehicle at 75 MPH and said he
was unfamiliar with the roadway.
While Officer Huffaker was speaking with Konstanti Charalidis he asked to pat him down for weapons.
During that pat search a three inch fixed blade Rowen knife was located tucked in his waistband.
Upon a further search of Konstanti Charalidis another knife was located sticking out of his pocket. Based on
the fact the first knife was not exposed and was completely concealed by Konstanti Charalidis clothing, he
was placed under arrest for violation of21310 PC.
I issued Konstanti Charalidis a citation of the above violation and released him on the signed citation. The

above knives were seized and booked into evidence.
