You are a very good coach/Headed I figured out that Mosallum didn?t learn how to be a team player. Instead of saying I?ll have to get the other side, or learn more, he says If it?s true, It?s disgusting. His quarterback is under attack and the instinct is not to defend, but to go along. There?s an assumption there that he believes it might be true, ratherthan an assumption that it couldn't be true and therefore he?ll make a temporizing statement. So now that I figured out what was bothering me, can go back to thinking about all the other problems we have. The survivors now are being manipulated by trial lawyers who in the end will each get millions of dollars more than any of individual survivors with the eXception of Denhollander who is likely to get kickback from Manley for her role in the trial lawyer manipulation. it is too bad we can?t have a debate about who is really trying to help those who were harmed by Nass'a r. At least, all of the positive changes are beginning to get some modest attention. it will be years before the use and abuSe by trial lawyers'point is understood. Have a good Sunday. Given the upcoming mediation conference, it is very problematic and highly inappropriate to be speaking with the Survivors or their families. . Over the weekend, the TV news carried another story about President Engler having contacted a different Survivor. Lansing attorney Jamie White was face-to-camera criticizing John for calling his client. Again, i am extremely concerned about John?s contact with the Survivors. I believe these actions were self?inflicted mistakes. I am not aware of any Board direction orthe Board?s advance knowledge of John?s contact with the Survivors. My question is: why is John contacting and/or speaking with the Survivors? The President talked to Kaylee?s mom on the phone days earlier before they arrived in the receptionarea demanding a meeting with the President saying they would not leave until they met. The meeting began with their pleas (and pleas throughout the meeting) that this meeting be kept ?cdnfidentlal? and they Would ?be in big trOuble if it was known that they were meetin with us?. was sur riSed this, Wasthe same Mom that the President had talked to. 2. Kaylee?s statements to the Board Contained many false and inaccwate statements which We did not publicly contradict out of an abundance of concern forthe survivors who are quick to claim ?revictimization? or ?shaming" survivors Whenever they are falsely accusing members of the MSU cemmunity. 3. BefOre Kaylee's spoke to the Board, a press release on her lawyer, Manly Steward Fizn-aeldi, letterhead was iSSUed PRIOR to her actually giving her public statemen. And, it was titled: Nasser Survivor Kaylee Lorincz Alleges Secret Payoff?Attempt by MSU President John Eingler. An inflammatory? headline written specifically for the press. The President did, not and NEVER would have thought to offer her money and certainly NEVER would have attempted to ?payoff? an individual survivor. 4. The President has not met with Rachel DenHoliander and did NOT in the meeting say he had. He absolutely did Not say she gave him a number. This accusation is pure fiction. 5. As to her assertions about Strampel, recall that The PreSident is the person who wanted Stra-mpel to be fired and lose his process that was initiated long before the attorney general filed criminal charges.
