Dear Ms. James:

Thank you for your correspondence dated April 17 whereby you discuss the skills
assessment of the Manitoba -Electric Board and the identified expertise that
would assist the Board in carrying out its oversight and governance functions in the

most efficacious manner possible.

I will take the three recommendations into serious account, and will actively work with
the Director of Agencies, Boards and Commissions to target those with suitable
backgrounds and expertise in the three priority areas noted.
