Subj: Reassignment Pending Investigation

System (CAVHCS)

1. This memorandum serves as an official notice that you are being temporarily reassigned
from your current position as CAVHCS Chief of due to a pending investigation into
allegations regarding abuse of authority.

2. You are being temporarily reassigned to unclassified duties and roles as assigned; Dr. Nabil
Habib. CAVHCS Associate Chief of Staff for Acute Care and Specialties, will be your direct
supervisor and will make appropriate work assignments according to the needs of CAVHCS
leadership.

3. Your tour of duty, pay grade, and benefits will not be affected.

4. You place of duty on West Campus (Perry Hill Rd. facility) will be determined by Dr. Habib.
5. You are hereby instructed to refrain from any involvement with the to include
contacting employees, other Service Chiefs, discussing policies and/or cases, offering advice,
and accessing any electronic or paper files for the duration of the investigation period.

6. This memorandum is effective immediately.
