Dear Governor Justice:

Please accept this letter as a formal request that you issue a gubernatorial
proclamation calling the Legislature into extraordinary session for the purpose of
allowing the House of Delegates to:

1) consider the possible initiation of impeachment proceedings against
one or more members of the Supreme Court of Appeals of west Virginia
pursuant to the provisions of Article IV, Section Nine of the Constitution of West
Virginia; and,

2) if such is the will of the body, to undertake such proceedings; and,

3) for the Senate to hold a trial if articles of impeachment are reported to
the Senate.

Additionally, we would ask that the proclamation authorize the
consideration by both houses of such resolutions as may be necessary to
facilitate the purposes of the extraor ary session.
