And, in the next few weeks, MCP will be asking for Ogden community’s input. Nordic Valley’s growing resort is part of an overall and arguably necessary progression of Utah’s ski industry. It will be an economic boost for Northern Utah. The proposed plan will provide easy access for residents in the Ogden Valley to enjoy all that Nordic Valley has to offer year-round – including skiing, hiking, biking and equestrian trails, protected access to authorized motorized routes and camping, fishing and hunting spots in the area. In an effort to seek public comment on its planned expansion of the 140-acre fourlift ski area to a world-class ski resort destination, Nordic Valley and MCP will host two open houses in July and August. The first open house will take place on July 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the barn at Nordic Valley. The second open house will be held in August, details to be announced in the coming weeks. The open houses will be an opportunity for members of the public to better understand the plans for expanding the resort, as well as a chance to convey any suggestions or concerns they might have about the future of Nordic Valley. Representatives from Nordic Valley will be on hand to review the proposed ideas for the resort and to answer those questions. “Our mantra is Skiing First, and we believe that the expansion of the resort will not only allow the Ogden Valley to better accommodate and serve the growing number of residents, but add to the many reasons that make the area a premier destination for winter and summer outdoor enthusiasts,” said James Coleman, Managing Partner, Mountain Capital Partners. “I hope that the local community will participate in these open houses to learn more about our plans and to address any questions or concerns to our team.” For additional information, visit https://nordicvalleyproject.com/ About Mountain Capital Partners Mountain Capital Partners MCP Headquartered in Durango, Colo., Mountain Capital Partners (MCP) owns and manages the largest collection of ski resorts in the Southwest, including Purgatory Resort, Arizona Snowbowl, Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort, Pajarito Mountain, Hesperus Ski Area and Colorado’s largest snowcat skiing operation, Purgatory Snowcat Adventures, as well as Nordic Valley Ski Resort.
