This letter is to con?rm that you are being suspended without pay from October 16, 2017 through
October 18, 2017. You are expected to return to work October 19, 2017.

This action is being taken due to willful disregard of the policies or of departmental rules of the City of
Richmond, which is a Group or Offense. In addition, your probationary period has been extended
an additional 45 days from the date of this letter due to the following:

0 Ignoring the directive from your immediate supervisor to maintain the current management
structure of 

0 Underrnining this department structure within your department.

0 Neglecting the protocol and procedures within the City of Richmond.

0 Not fostering an atmosphere of teamwork within your department.

During this extension, the improvements upon the aforementioned areas must be made. Failure to show
immediate and sustained improvement may result in further disciplinary action up to an including
termination.
