On Sunday October 23rd, a loaded .25 Cal
Automatic Pistol was found in the glove compartment
of Squad 227.

Further checking revealed the weapon was
taken by you.

I call your attention to Ordinance #3385,
section 12.7 entitled RECOVERED PROPERTY.

I find this particular incident more distressing
since it involves a loaded handgun which was just tossed
aside and forgotten about. Therefore I am issuing this
written reprimand to be placed in to your personnel

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT ON OFFENSE 0F: FOUND HANDGUN

COMPLAINANT: STATE OF INDIANA - CASE 
STREET ADDRESS: :75 WATERFALL DRIVE DATE: 10/24/88
CITY AND STATEELKHART, INDIANA TIME: 0500

While I was looking in the glove compartment of Squad 227 at the above time and date, I
found a RAVEN ARMS .25 CAL automatic with a clip containing 6 shells in it.
The serial of the gun is 603775 and the model is a 

The gun was tagged and placed into the wet room.

upon reciveing this weapon, I checked with radio to see who may'have used this
autoand found that K.Cook used this unit Friday and that S.Ambrose used it
Saturday and MCCloskey Sunday when the weapon was found.

The weapon was run through NCIC for stolen by set number and it came back not stolen

a check was made through records by make and set number and is not listed,
