This written Reprimand is reference to the incident which 
June 12th 1987 (Friday). You had one Peete, on station
to talk with him reference to a Active ase you were working where
he was the suspect After your interview with him I had conversation
with _ou reference to our department holding a Active Warrant for
Mr. 1: Peete for F. A. cut of Elkhart City Court

  

You acknowledge having prior knowledge of this exeisting warrant
and had no legitimate reason for him not being arrested on the
valid warrant. I feel that the explanation that you gave was in
bad taste and very non?professional.

Contrary to your belief it is not only The Warrant Officers job
to serve warrants but each and evry police officer.

You are hearby order to give a written explanation of your action
and that written explanation will be attached with this Reprimand.
