Cleared By: 972 Narrative: 20-181001 Page: 1 I responded to the Huron Boat Basin in reference to Vandalism to the Sea Quest moored at that location. Upon my arrival I met with Captain Botha. He advised me that at some time around sunrise the crew woke to ?nd the boat had been untied from the dock and was adri?. They were able to regain control of the ship but not before it struck the dock with its Starboard forward section. He showed me the damage which consisted of several large scratches and scrapes. The damage was located in an area that I was not able to obtain clear pictures of the damage. I advised Captain Botha that a report would be on ?le with our agency to document the damage. He estimated the damage to be between $5,000 and $10,000 to have repaired. He fulther advised that none of the crew observed anything suspicious last evening 01' prior to the boat being untied. I made contact with boat basin personnel to have them check any video of the boat basin area to see if anyone can be seen in the RYAN BOESCH Ofe.
