Griffin #1360 Subject: Zero Tolerance Traffic Enforcement initiative On Saturday, 6?23?18 the Bastrop County Sheriff?s Of?ce (BCSO) Highway Enforcement And Traf?c (HEAT) Unit; along additional BCSO patrol units will be conducting a ?Zero Tolerance? Traf?c Enforcement Initiative. The target areas will be: South Cedar Creek Del Valle (PM. 535 Wolf Lane area; including the Stony Point Elm Ridge subdivisions) the RM. 812 corridor (Travis County Line, Mesa Dr. Old San Antonio Rd, etc). Enforcement action: ZERO tolerance for Uninsured vehicles; those vehicles will be towed away arrangements will be made for the occupants to be picked up. Vehicle Impound Forms will be completed; listing only the call the citation will also be listed in the call Enforcement action: ZERO tolerance for Unlicensed and/or Invalid 1? Suspended drivers; these drivers will be physically arrested taken to the speci?ed rendezvous (Justice of the Peace #3 (J located 5785 PM. 535 in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, TX 78612) point, where a BCSO TranSport Van will be. The transport van will leave this location approximately each hour the top of the hour (Example: 8P, 9P, etc.) Unruly subjects will be transported to the jail by the arresting deputy. In addition to the above?listed traf?c offenses; units will also be targeting alcohol (Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Driving Under the In?uence 85 narcotics (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (PODP) any other drug offenses)?related offenses; where there will also be ZERO tolerance. There will also be strict enforcement for ?ctitious buyer dealer temporary tags; which are more often seen in the targeted areas. Personnel: All HEAT units will participate; listed as: Deputies S.
