I applaud your suggestion to reach out to an outside designer in you deem it proper.
Have you shared the issue with other movable bridge practitioners such as Bandlow,
Flanders, and Gresham? FDOT proper is lacking the expertise to help you on this matter
but perhaps Central Office has a Movable Consultant on board and they could issue a
TWO. Check with Thomas Andres on this regard.
Please setup your teleconference around the schedule of the many experts and FDOT
management at their discretion. I will make myself available.
In my opinion, you definitely need to get the bridge in working order before it is
transferred to the AMC and nothing else is acceptable.
