Dear Mayor Abernathy:

To facilitate planning on the part of the City of Clemson for the 1995
Carolina Panther home season to be played in Memorial Stadium, I am
pleased to inform you and the City Council that $100,000 is being committed
from game revenues to cover the special requirements placed on the City to

provide support for this activity.

It is recognized that this is approximately $16,000 more than the
projected costs itemized by the City staff, but the feeling here is that we would
try to allow for unanticipated needs at this time rather than deal with
incidentals after the season is underway.
