The final figures are in from the Carolina Panthers? use of
Memorial Stadium for the 1995 season. Please review the follow-
ing along with my recommendation regarding the distribution of

this revenue.

 

I. Revenue From Carolina Panthers $2,113,000.
Expenses: City of Clemson $100,000.
Utilities 24,000.
Miscellaneous 18,000.

II. Net After Expenses $1,971,000.

 

Debt Service on Stadium
($1.00 Per Seat, Per Game) -532,000.

Proposed Distribution of Remaining Funds $1,439,000.
*Academic Scholarships $900,000.

Athletic Department
(With Special Attention to

Gender Equity Issues) 225,000.
Faculty Assistance 50,000.
Student Assistance 14,000.
University Library 250,000.

distribution is augmented by
the $100,000.00 gift from the Richardson

family for a total of $1,000,000.00.
