SUBJECT: Income ated From The Carolina Panthers

The Athletic Department has recommended, and the Trustees
have endorsed, the allotment of $14,000 to support student programs.
Since these funds are non-recurring in nature, there should be
no commitment that would obligate the University beyond the expenditure
of these funds.

It is understood that priority would be given to enhancing
campus security, particularly as it affects students, any necessary
purchases for clean sweep. I would like for the two of you to
finalize how these funds are to be spent and to submit your recommendations
to Alan Godfrey. Upon their receipt, the fund transfer will
be authorized.
