The total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the Regular Municipal Election, October 3, 2017 was 335,911. The total number of voters was 97,399, resulting in a voter turnout of 29%. The total number of signatures that will be required for voter initiatives proposed pursuant to Alticle Section 3 of the City Charter for the next municipal election will be more than 19,480 based on 20% of the number of voters who voted at the last regular municipal mayoral election, which was this election held on October 3, 2017.
