STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA i EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT Charleston ORDER By the Governor WHEREAS, the Honorable Robin Jean Davis was elected to serve as a Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court effective the sixteenth day of December, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Honorable Robin Jean Davis has advised the Of?ce of the Governor of her intention to retire as a Justice effective at midnight on the thirteenth day of August, Two Thousand Eighteen; and WHEREAS, the Administrative Director of the Supreme Court of Appeals has certi?ed that the Honorable Robin Jean Davis, Justice, has credited service of 21 years, 7 months, 28 days in the Judges? Retirement System. NOW, THEREFORE, I, JIM JUSTICE, GOVERNOR of the State of West Virginia, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of this State, do hereby ACCEPT the Judicial Retirement of the Honorable Robin Jean Davis, Justice, West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, effective at midnight on the thirteenth day of August, Two Thousand Eighteen; and I do hereby CERTIFY that the Honorable Robin Jean Davis has served as a justice of a court of record within the State of West Virginia and has credited service of 21 years, and is therefore eligible for retirement pursuant to the provisions of West Virginia Code 51-9-9; and I do hereby further CERTIFY that the Honorable Robin Jean Davis is eligible to claim credit for service rendered as a Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals as eligible service for retirement bene?ts under the Judges? Retirement System; and I do hereby DIRECT the Of?ce of the Secretary of State to ?le a certi?ed copy of this Order with the State Auditor and to deliver certi?ed copies to the Supreme Court of Appeals and the Consolidated Public Retirement Board.
