RE: Further Instructions from the Saudi Ministry of Education
Greetings from the Saudi Arabian Cultural Bureau:

I am writing to con?rm that on August 27th, 2018 the Saudi Ministry of Education
approved the following instructions concerning Saudi medical trainees in Canada:

1. All trainees in residency and fellowship programs may, at their option, remain
in their programs at Canadian Medical Schools until such time as they have
obtained final admission into equivalent training programs in other countries;

2. Any trainees who are presently on Leaves of Absence may, at their option,
return to their programs and resume their training in Canada;

On behalf of all Saudi medical trainees in Canada, I would like express our sincere
appreciation to you, your program directors, house staff and everyone else in your
esteemed Faculty of Medicine and affiliated teaching hospitals for the outstanding
support, assistance and understanding you have kindly provided to our trainees.
