To the above-named Respondent:

IN THE NAME OF THE STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA:
Whereas the West Virginia House of Delegates did, on the 20 1h day of August, 2018, deliver to the
Senate Articles of Impeachment against you, the said Chief Justice Margaret Workman. The
Articles of Impeachment and the Rules of the Senate While Sitting as a Court of Impeachment,
adopted on August 20, 2018, are attached hereto.
You are hereby summoned and required to appear before the West Virginia Senate sitting as the
Court of Impeachment on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., in the Senate Chamber of
the West Virginia State Capitol, in order to answer the accusations as set forth in said articles.
If you fail to do so, thereafter judgment, upon proper consideration and vote of the West Virginia
Senate, may be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Articles of Impeachment.
