ADDENDUM 1 TO STATEMENT OF WORK DATED OCTOBER 16, 2017

This document is a modification to an agreement dated October 16, 2017 between Aurora
Public Schools and Education by Design, LLC.
Project Description/Deliverables
Project timeline: February 19 - June 30, 2018
Project lead: Marilyn Crawford / Guillaume Gendre
Planning and implementation support for Aurora Hills Middle School:
Master scheduling support (building leadership & teachers as appropriate):
Planning: Facilitate final scenario development and help create the master schedule
that translates design elements into an actionable schedule.
Launch support: Ongoing support to adjust the new master schedule to meet local
needs before, during, and after school opens for the 2018-19 school year.
Instructional (PLUS program) support:
Planning: Develop PLUS program implementation plan including but not necessarily
limited to: selecting subjects, planning implementation and PLUS teacher professional
development
Launch support: facilitate Fall 2018 PLUS schedule launch and help adjust the
program as necessary to maximize impact/success
Communications:
Create a communications plan for parents, community and students to ensure support
for, and success of, the new school design and PLUS program.
Budget: NTE $40,000
