The details of your offer are below. Salary and academic appointment. You will have a full~time appointment as an Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and BiOphysics. The 9-month salary for this position is $107,500, plus bene?ts. A summary of employee benefits can be found at Nine-month appointments for the 2015-16 academic year begin on September 1, 2015. Research facilities and lab space. You will be given approximately 3,000 square feet of lab space on the ?oor of the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building. a state-of-the-art 120,000-square-foot research facility opened in 2013. and the newest building in our BiOmedical Discovery District. Your lab will occupy a mammallian cell culture facility located on the same floor as y0ur wet lab space. You will also be provided approximately 750 square foot space dedicated to the storage of research equipment and instrumentation. This space will neighbor your research lab. Research support. The University of Minnesota and College of Biological Sciences will provide $1,700,000 to support current and new research efforts in your lab. Yearly allocations will be provided as follows: $500,000 (year $300,000 (years There is no speci?c time limit for Spending these funds. Office space - research staff. Dedicated of?ce space for research staff is provided as part of your lab space. You will be given space for 12 research staff. Additional Space will be negotiated with your department chair, should your lab grow beyond this size. Additionally. your lab will have full access to ammenities within the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building, which includes a kitchen area and lounge. Of?ce space Professor McNaughton. You will be given a faculty of?ce. This space will be on the same floor as your research lab. Relocation lab equipment. The University of Minnesota will pay up to $75,000 in relocation costs to move your lab from Colorado State University. Relocation personnel. The University of Minnesota will pay full relocation fees for you and your family. We will also provide up to SOinerson to move your current research staff.
