Yes Agency Name: UNIV louisiana lafayette Date Filed: 10/07/2017 Myself and teammates reported a number of title 9 issues to President Savoie, AD Maggarcl, SWA Jessnca Leger and Patrioa Cottonham dean of students, Megan Breaux title 9 coordinator. the violation included was no athletic trainer for the team for months, no functional assessments for female athletes, inadequate medical care, not maintaining the softball ?eld, not providing water at practice, inappropriate contact given by the administers to players, failure of university to pay assistant coaches, inadequate strength and conditioning coaches in which I suffered a lower back injure and had no Current status of the complaint: trainer to help with my health and wellness. reporteo concerns were dismissed by admistration and the coaching staff was ?red in retaliation on November 1, 2017 . Describe the discrimination On what basis were you discriminated against? race; sex; disability; retaliation; Myself and teammates reported a number of title 9 issues to President Savoie, AD Maggard, SWA Jessica Leger and Patricia Cottonham dean of students, Megan Breaux title 9 coordinator. the violations included gender inequality against the players and staff, no athletic trainer for team, no strength coach, no physical functional assessment for female, inadequate medical care, not maintaining softball ?eld or pitching bullpens, no provided water at team practices, inappropriate contact by administrator/President to players including groping, kissing and inappropriate contact during events. all concerns were dismissed and all coaching staff was fired. the associate head coach was not allowed to continue as interim head coach because he was minority . a student was put in charge of the team which cause mass chaos. racial slurs were made about teammates and the administration ignored it. on November 17, 2017 the UL softball team was kicked out of the UL basketball game by game management and police officers while other athletes were allowed to stay in the same area, it went as far as them escorting us out. they speci?cally asked that all softball player leave or they would contact the NCAA. Dr. Leger refused to meet with me to hear my concerns and a different version of events that were completely opposite of the report. I went 4 different occasions. me and my mother that drove from Houston met with Brian Maggard and he refused to release me. all of this case created extreme anxiety which interfered with my concentration in the classroom and caused stress and which I saw medical treatment. in which I revised a registered with the office of disability at ULL.
