NARRATIVE OF THE FACTUAL BASIS FOR PROBABLE CAUSE: The undersigned certi?es that he I she has just and reasonable grounds to beleive that the heretcalter named defendant did commit the violation as stated above and the factual basis for belief is as follows: On February 15, 2018 l, Deputy Wester, was on patrol in my marked patrol vehicle traveling south on Hwy 231 in Cottondale,Florida. While on patrol I observed a white in color Nissan pickup truck traveling directly in front of me. As we approached the red light and came to a complete step I observed that the vehicle's brake lights worked intermittently and then ?ickered on and off at a fast pace. I activated my emergency equipment and conducted a probable cause traf?c stop on the vehicle. Upon making contact with the driver, identi?ed as Teresa Odom, I advised the reason for the traf?c stop and requested her driver's license. Odom stated that her brake lights were failing due to water entering the housing from the recent rain. During the traf?c stop verbal consent was granted for a search of the vehicle and the contents therein. A search of the vehicle revealed the following: in the drivers side floor board a silver in color spoon was recovered. The spoon contained a white in color residue that ?eld tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine. In a blue in color purse, where Odom retrieved her drivers license from. a small plastic baggie was recovered. The baggie contained approximately .87 grams of a substance presumed to be methamphetamine. A subsequent ?eld test returned a presumptive positive with the reagent color changing from light purple to dark purple/blue once the substance was introduced to the reagent. Odom was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine (FSS 893.13) and possession of drug paraphernalia (893.147). While en route to the Jackson County Correctional Facility Odom stated that she is currently out on bond for dealing in stolen property. This incident did occur in Jackson County. Florida. 85. The undersigned. being duly swam. states that the forgoing information contained in an 86.
