This letter responds to your May 8, 2018 Freedom of Information Act request
submitted to the Of?ce of Legal Counsel seeking ?the listing of opinions from
January 1,2017 through the present.? Pursuant to 28 C. 16. your request was 
processed 1n the simple track.

We have completed our search of OLC ?les and have identi?ed two documents that are
responsive to your request. We are enclosing those document with redactions we have made .
pursuant to FOIA Exemptions Five and Six, 5 USC. 552(b)(5) (6). The material withheld
pursuant to Exemption Five is protected by the deliberative process privilege and the attorney-
client privilege and we have determined it is not appropriate for discretionary release. Material,
the release of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy, has
been redacted pursuant to Exemption Six.

For your information, Congress excluded three discrete categories of law enforcement
and national security records from the requirements of the FOIA. See 5 U.S.C. 552(c). This
response is limited to those records that are subject to the requirements of the FOIA. This is a
stande noti?cation that is given to all our requesters and should not be taken as an indication
that excluded records do, or do not, exist.
