AMBASSADOR   A B O U T B I R D  Bird is a last-mile electric vehicle sharing company dedicated to bringing affordable,  environmentally friendly transportation solutions to communities across the world.      A M B A S S A D O R P R O G R A M  We’re selecting a limited group of individuals to ride and take care of a personal Bird  scooter for a defined period of time.     The purpose of our ambassador program is to:   1. Help familiarize people in your city with Bird (both concept and brand) prior to  going live  2. Collect city-specific feedback to help make launching in your city as smooth  as possible    Note: we are not operating in your city, so you will be one of the only individuals with  ability to access and ride a Bird.           AMBASSADOR   E X P E C T A T I O N S  Since we can only give a select number of personal Birds, we want them in the  hands of individuals who are passionate about our brand and our mission.     Asks:  1. Ride!​ Commute with Bird to/from work at a minimum, but we’d obviously  love for you to ride it as often as needed beyond your commute! The more  people see you, the better.  2. Spread the word!​ Encourage others to download/open the Bird app to  complete the call-to-action (auto-generated email sent to city to prove  interest in having Bird).  3. Follow rules of the road (more below)!​ Please be kind, respectful, and abide  by all street/traffic laws. You’re the city’s first impression of Bird, so let’s make  it a good one :)    If you’d rather not be held accountable for completing these asks, no problem at all!  Once we’re live in your city, you’ll be able to ride Bird whenever you want without  any expectations.          AMBASSADOR   C O N S I D E R A T I O N S  As an early Bird ambassador, your Bird experience will be unique:    The fun:   1. As one of the few individuals in your city with a Bird, many people will come  up to you asking about Bird and how you got one. It’s a great conversation  starter and ambassadors tend to enjoy the “celebrity” status that comes with  having one.  2. We won’t be charging you while you have the personal Bird, so you now have  a free and fun way to get around!    The less ideal:   1. Personal Birds ​can’t be left anywhere​ (the way it normally works when we’re  live in a city). Most individuals have no problem bringing them into their office,  a coffee shop, nice rooftop bar, or simply locking to a bike rack; however,  “dockless parking” isn’t an option until we’re live.  2. Mechanical/software issues do come up, and when they do, you can’t simply  ditch your Bird and find a new one that works on the street (as done in live  markets). We will work as fast as possible to fix any issues you experience, but  having a personal electric scooter can create inconveniences from time to  time, so we kindly ask for a h ​ igher level of patience​ from our ambassadors.        AMBASSADOR   R U L E S O F T H E R O A D  - Comply with all applicable laws and traffic signs, including stop signs and stop  lights  - Ride on bike paths or roadways (staying to the right) and ​no riding on  sidewalks  - Helmets are highly encouraged and may be required by law  - Do not operate the Bird scooter while distracted or under the influence of  drugs/alcohol  - Lock the scooter to a bike rack or bring it in with you when arriving at your  destination  - Bird scooter is provided for your use only     N E X T S T E P S  If you’re still excited about becoming an ambassador for Bird after reading the  above, let us know (contact info below) and we’ll follow-up with:  1. A legal doc for your review/execution  2. Logistics on how to get your temporary personal Bird    If you decide being an ambassador is not for you at any point (either now or after  receiving a personal Bird), please let us know! There’s no problem or repercussion,  and we’ll still appreciate your time and effort.    Note: The Bird scooter is the property of Bird and is provided for your use AS-IS and  without warranty of any kind.
