First off thank you for your calls this morning. I have asked MMG what time they could get on a phone call with us to discuss the findings and next steps. I will let you know when I get an answer. I would assume MMG will be the lead materials management consultant to prepare an abatement plan and monitor the project to produce the clear site certificate at the end that's needed. I am hoping that the abatement plan would include removing all the flooring in the building because it is actively popping up everywhere. At this point with the amount of exposure that has happened, we should consider the building as a whole to complete the environmental clear site. What are your thoughts? Is this considered an emergency? Our buildout for the upcoming school year operations and school start dates that begin with teachers in the classrooms on July 1st looks to be delayed, but how long? I don't know if we will have enough time to complete this large of a task. We need some guidance from MMG soon. Thoughts? Please be advised that none of the areas tested passed the relevant AHERA/LDEQ standard for clearance (70 s/mm2). Furthermore, as asbestos fibers were identified above the required clearance standard in multiple air samples (and multiple samples came back “overloaded” due to an excess of residual dust) it is definitely time to start thinking about potential remediation options for the affected areas and alternative floor tile replacement strategies going forward. It may also be worth limiting 3rd party contractor access to the building until we have a chance to meet, discuss the testing results, and formulate a response plan. I have limited time available next week but maybe we could touch base on Monday to set up a meeting? All the best, Braelin C.
