On 10/23/18, Minnshaha County Deputy Lut'ter. the Tri--Valley SRO. was talking with the high school Principal Mr. McDonald when a teacher informed them of a Snapchat story that was attention by her students. She said it was posted on iuvenlle_ Snapchat involving threats with a firearm similar to a semi-automatic rifle The video captioned stated, the don't go to school tmr." Juvenile .was located and interviewed his Snapchet. 2. In investigating the threat it was determined that the juvenile suspect. had received a ride from eighteen year old Nathan Ewer Minnehaha County Deputy Van Roekel interviewed Nathan and he disclosed that there was a 22 caliber firearm In his vehicle. Nathan did not consent to law enforcement searching his vehicle and would not provide the make and model of his vehicle. 3' Tri-Valley school staff identified Nathan' vehicle as a white Ford F150 registered to his mother Cindy Ewer Deputy Van Roekel- located the vehicl the Tri-Valley school parking lot. The vehicle was hearing South that the vehicle was registered to Cindy Ewer of in Minnehaha County. The vehicle was secured and towed to the crime lab storage facility at the Law Enforcement Center in Sioux Falls. SD. Deputy Van Roekel entered the vehicle as evidence. 4. On 10/24/2018 a search warrant for the 2009 Ford F150 wasdratted and signed by Judge Zell. The warrant was executed at the gray bar on 10/24/2018. During the execution of the search warmnt the following items were located in the 2009 Ford F150: Four firearms, 18 knives; 2 baseball bats; ammunition of various caiibeis; numerous house and car keys, bath salts; an ashtray and mason jar with marijuana residue; a box of square snack baggies and a small di ital scale The firearms located was a 22 caliber Mossberg 702 Plankster with serial ,numbarb 223 American TacticalAR with serial number N5340160, a Browning A-Boll'25 6 caliber with serial number -- and a Spanish revolver 38 Special CTG terated serial numbe Diazepa a scheduled tour controlled drug, Llsinopril and Wherefore your af?ant now believes there is probable cause for issuance of an arrest warrant charging the defendant for SDCL 13-32-7 Firearm or Weapon on School Grounds, SDCL 22- . 14-5 Possession of Firearm with Altered Serial Number, SDCL 22-14-9 Carrying Concealed Pistol er Revelver Without'a' Permit, Possession Controlled Drug or whatever is deemed appropriatel respectfully request the same. - - This 2W day at 0w~ .2013. at Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota Ll - Subscribed and sworn to before me this day of 66+ Minmhahacounty, South Dakota.
