Dear Pastor Southall:

I am writing on behalf of our client Juan LaFonta regarding defamatory statements
published by the principal of Edgar P. Harney, Spirit of Excellence Academy, Mrs. Ashonta Wyatt.
Mrs. Wyatt, in conjunction with Kimberly Dilosa, has made libelous and defamatory statements
concerning Mr. LaFonta. Due to Mrs. Wyatt?s comments, and by her effort in publishing these
comments in the public sphere, our client has received threats from outside parties.

This letter serves as our request for Mrs. Ashonta Wyatt, and by extension, the Edgar P.
Harney, Spirit of Excellence Academy, to cease, and desist any such defamatory action, and to
rescind the comments previously made. Should Mrs. Wyatt or the Edgar P. Harney, Spirit of
Excellence Academy not comply, we will pursue all available legal remedies against the Orleans
Parish charter school system, the Spirit of Excellence Academy, Inc. board of directors, and the
Edgar P. Harney, Spirit of Excellence Academy school and its administration.
