Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Renewal Extension Extension Overview of Process and Progress to Date   The renewal process includes the following: o An extensive review of the school’s state accountability data to assess if it meets renewal standards per the Charter School Accountability Framework, along with the school’s ability to meet expectations related to financial management and organizational compliance. o An annual site visit, which includes additional conversations with the school leadership and charter organization’s Board Chair and CMO Leader. o For some schools that may be eligible for the Comprehensive Evaluation, additional activities are conducted to assess quantitative and qualitative information The renewal and extension process for the 2018-2019 cycle began in early July and is currently running on track to meet a November Board meeting recommendation cycle, if the LDOE releases its final letter grades by the end of October.  OPSB also partnered with schools in the renewal process this fall to inform families that the school’s were going through the renewal process, share an overview of what renewal meant, and inform them of the timeline for official decisions. 9 THANK
