Flick Scott and the Florida Legislature to ful?ll the requirements of Senate Bill 10 and expedite the Everglades Agricultural Area Storage Reservoir project. The actions taken bv this Board allow for immediate reservoir site work to proceed. Regarding the lease on the reservoir site approved todav, Florida law clea states that I1the district shall execute, renegotiate, extend, or amend agreements, including reasonable notice and termination provisions, so that land does not sit fallow and provides the maximum public bene?t.
