An important member of our school community has experienced a tragedy that has deeply affected all of us and will undoubtedly be upsetting to you and your children. Late Thursday night on November 15. 20l8. our 7th Grade Science Teacher Mr. Rosenbrock?s wife, Ashley. tragically passed away. A sudden loss like this can have a prOfOU?d effect on family, friends. colleagues. parents. and students. It is important that we recognize this loss and support each other through this time. We encourage you talk with your children and share your feelings together. Our crisis team has been assembled to support students and staff. Counselors will be available in the Jr.-Sr. High School Library Media Center on Monday and Tuesday to assist students as they explore their grief. If you feel your child is in need of special assistance or is having a great deal of dif?culty coping with this situation. please call the Jr.-Sr. High School of?ce at 518-668-5452 to be put in touch with one of our support staff. While it is important to deal with grief, loss, anger and fear reactions, we will try to maintain our regular routine regarding school activities. For that reason, school will continue on its normal schedule at the Jr.-Sr. High School on Monday. Please observe your child closely over the next several days and weeks for signs of distress, which may indicate a need for additional support and guidance.
