Dear Charles:

On behalf of the National Libertarian Party I wish
to convey to you my sincere thanks for your extremely
generous $10,000 contribution. We will be using the funds

you have provided for general administrative and overhead
costs.

I believe the Libertarian Party stands ready to emerge
as a viable national alternative to the decaying two-party
system in America. Whether or not we are able to accompeish
this in 1976 depends in large part on our ability to raise
significant sums of money. Your contribution will go a long
way toward achieving that objective. As I mentioned to you
previously, I am also pleased because your support indicates
that you approve of the work that has been put forth to date
here at national headquarters. We will continue to fight the

good fight and will keep you up to date on all significant
activities we undertake.

I only recently heard from George that you and Li: are
the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl. Congratulations!
Here's hoping that by the time she's old enoughtto vote we'll

live in a society which political action will no longer be
needed to defend our liberties.
