I also believe that the fol- lowing areas of responsibility should begin on June 2 in anticipation of the full time campaign beginning June 30: Policy Group - Consisting of Crane (Chairman), Hocker, Boss, and Palmer. The purpose of this group is to determine campaign strategy, set issue priorities, determine subject matter for news releases, and advise Clark on themes and facts to em- phasize in speeches. - Responsible for research, news releases, media relations, and ad? vertising. Supervises with Hacker the fundraising operation. Chris Hooker Responsible for scheduling Clark and Koch. Chief placator of irate troops. Primary responsibility for speech writing.
