. RESPONSE: our detailed plan for the CPD is in our Operations White Paper which as not yet been released.
in summary, our plan includes dividing the city into four districts with tour superintendents that reflect the
population that they serve. All iour will report directly to me.

. linot, how would you select your CPD superintendent? Would you promote trorn within the department.

. RESPONSE: We pelieve there are some good candidates within the department but will be open to all
individuals.

. Regardless oi what happens with the election. should Eddie Johnson remain superintendent?

. RESPONSE: No, there has been so much ill will created with the CPD through the leadership oi this Mayor
and Superintendent that it is time to try something new.

. Would you continue Mayor Emanuel's police retorrn agenda, or do you have yourown plan you'd like to
implement (to the degree that's possible, assuming the consent decree is approved by a tederal judge)?

. RESPONSE: Clearly the Consent Decree will be a legal requirement that will need to be adhered to. We have
our own ideas that we will develop with the input oi the communities and the new police leadership.
