Co Regarding A Disturbance with A Frantic Female that called But Hung Up and No information Given
PTLM Mader called Direct From Colliers Way. PTLM Baker Called Direct from Penn. Ave Itizi and i just
called Direct. i Thought At That time PTLM Mader would Arrive First Before other Officers. My Location
was The Station Lot. While In Route iApproached The intersection of Cove Road And Saw Had A Red
Light, At The Same Time To My Left I Saw PTLM Baker on Penn. Ave Who Also Had A Red Light and At
This Time I did, Not Activate my Lights Because we were About A Block Away From Marie Ave And PTLM
Mader indicated Over The Radio He Was on Marie. i Did not Activate My Emergency Lights Because
Lack of Traffic on The Roadway At That Time of Night. At This Time Dispatch came over The Radio in An
Alarm Tone And Advised For ?Officers Be Aware For A Weapon Involved?! PTLM Baker Then went First
Through The intersection And i Followed Close Behind. A couple Hundred Yards Myself And PTLM Baker
Turned Left on Marie Ave. Once We Crested The Hill i Could See PTLM Mader Rear Cruiser Parking Light.
Shortly After PTLM Baker Slammed on His Brakes in The Middle of The Road Causing Me To Have To

Made Down The Road With His Gun Drawn And Yelling At Someone To A ?Drop It? i Exited my vehicle
And Started At A Fast Pace Towards PTLM Mader.- When i Opened my vehicle Door it Crossed My Mind

made Contact With A Male Subject And Focused My Gun on Him. i could Not See Any Weapon On Him

At That Time The Subject Focused His Attention On Me And Pointed A Gun At Me While Started To Walk
Towards Me. My First Thought Was ?Holy Shit He?s Pointing A Gun At Me?! 1 Could not Believe He

Gun Pointed At Me. lYelled For The Male To ?Droplt?! Again As Was PTLM Mader Was Also Yelling At
Him To ?Drop It"! The Male The The Swang His Gun Towards PTLM Mader And pointed it At him. The
Male Kept Walking Towards Me And i kept Yelling At Him to "Drop it? And That?s When He Focused Back
on Me And Pointed His Gun At Me Again. At This Point i felt Fearful For My Life And Also PTLM Mader
And That The Subject was Going To Pull His Trigger And Kill Me. That?s When I Made The Dezesion To
Fire My Gun At The Male To Stop His Threat. Fired Off Three Rounds Quickly But The Subject Didn?t

Which Point The Male Fell To The Ground And I Held My Fire. 1 Quit To Walk Towards The Male With

When I Got Close I could See The Gun Laying Approx Two Feet From The Male And That He Had Head
Trauma And Blood Was Pouring From His Head. At This Point It Was Obvious To Me He Was Dead But i
Still Radioed For Fire And EMS To Be Sent Kept My Gun Drawn A PTLM Mader And PTLM Baker Went
To The Front Door Of The House in Question. T0 assess The Situation For The Oredute Call I Stood By
