NARRATIVE FOR POLICE OFFICER ANTHONY A FIELDS

On 6-1-13 I was dispatched to Wendys, 4595 E. Main St. on a disturbance. Upon arrival I spoke with victim.?.
He stated that he was working inside Wendys in the drive thru area and heard a male ordering food. The male was
getting upset due to the fact that the person working the Drive Thru was talking too fast and not getting his order
right.-then told the male to pull around to the window and he would take his order. When the male pulled
around "attempted to take his order but the male demanded to speak with a manager. ?old the male that
the person he was ordering from earlier was the manager. ?said the male then continued to be belligerent
telling him to "get a real job and go back to the grill and ?ip burgers? - told the male that he did not have to
take his order if he was going to be rude and the male stated "You can't disrespect me. I'm a deputy" and showed
him a badge. -Ihen told the male to pull out ol'the line and the male spit at him and called him a "bitch" and
drove off the lot. Witness, -was able to obtain the license plate nuniher-, and described the male as
white, with tattoos all over his arms. I went to the address that the vehicle was registered to and spoke with the male
identi?ed as James Hughes Jr. I asked Hughes about the incident at Wendys and he said ?inhose ignorant

He said that they could not get an order right. Iasked Hughes if he showed them his badge and he said that
he did not but said that he had his wallet out to get his debit card to pay for the order. He showed me his wallet and
when he opened it I saw a ?ap covering a badge. I then asked Hughes ifhe spit on the window and he said "yes, I
was pissed." Iwent back to Wendys and spoke with .and advised him that I had located Hughes. ?said
that he wanted to pursue charges. A charge for disorderly conduct was written up and served as a summons to
Hughes.
