Southwest Regional Maintenance Center - rotnplies witlt proper scenritv protocol to
proteet Navy warships being repaired at private shipyards in San Diego Bay. Ther 5 an
identified security to the ship in these private yards as there is not currently adequate

- lor them on the water side; they should have waterborne security patrols in front of
them. 0 my concern is twofold: I would like to see our veterans employed. and (2) I would
like to see the Navy address this shortfall in our National Security posture.

waterborne security program at NASSCO. CMSD and And it' they are not starting
immediately. why not?
