I was born in the hospital in Parkston South Dakota on October 22nd, 1957. My parents were Arthur Guericke Sr. and Arlene
Stoebnor Guericke. I was raised on a farm 8.5 miles south of Alexandria South Dakota with my 2 younger brothers Douglas who is 59
and David who is 58. Doug is married with 3 children and sells crop insurance and drives a school bus by Alexandria South Dakota.
His wife Janeile teaches for Mitchell Technical Institute. Dave is a school teacher in Marty South Dakota and also farms. He is not
married. was baptized in and attended St Peters Luthern Church Missouri Synod near Clayton, South Dakota. was confirmed
when was an eighth grader. One of my nephews currently lives on the farm on which I grew up. My brother David owns it.

I attended school in Alexandria School in South Dakota K-5 and then the District was consolidated and attended school in Farmer
South Dakota for grades 6-8. attended High School in Alexandria and graduated in 1975. While in high school I participated in
basketball, track, band, and chorus,

After graduation i attended USD in Vermillion South Dakota and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Earth Science and
Education in 1979. While attending college i worked at Herters the. in Mitchell South Dakota on weekends and during the summer. 
student taught at Mitchell Jr. High School during the spring of 1979.

began my teaching career in White Lake, South Dakota the fall of 1979. was assigned to teach physical science, biology,
chemistry, anatomy and earth science. I also drove a school bus on a route and was assistant boys basketball coach. taught and
was an assistant coach for boys and/or girls basketball for 7 years. During my 7th year I also taught Chemistry in Plankihion when
their Chemistry instructor took another job. I then went to summer school and took night classes and obtained a master of education
degree and was asked to become the secondary principal and to continue part time teaching in White Lake. held this due! position
for 4 years. During that time continued to attend summer school and take night classes so as to obtain enough post graduate hours
to be certified as a school superintendent. was then offered the dual position of high school principai and superintendent which I
tilted for 2 years. I worked for the White Lake School a total of 13 years. During the first 5 years painted buildings and worked for a
service station during the summer and on weekends.

At that time a position for directing a youth employment program and a youth substance abuse prevention program became availabie
at the Mid-Central Cooperatative in Platte, South Dakota. was offered this job and resigned my position in White Lake. Platte was
close enough to White Lake that could continue to live in White Lake. After 1 year with the Cooperatative was asked to add the
duties of assistant director to my responsibilities. A year later was asked to be the director, a position which I held for the next 22
years. i worked for the Cooperatative for a total of 24 years. During that time we added 3 additional schools, a staff development
program and a distance education program to our special education program. i retired from the Cooperatative June 30, 2016.

After retiring from the Cooperatative I worked for Boyds gunstock company in Mitchell, South Dakota. I started as a CNC machine
operator and later was trained to operate a variety 02 manufacturing and production tools. When an opportunity in the sates
department became avaiiable i applied for it and was offered the job. worked for Boyds for 18 months.

in November of 2017 the Administrator for Aurora Brule Care and Rehab reigned to take a position in another state closer to his
fiance. The board of directors asked me to consider this position. I was concerned about my current legal situation and how it would
impact the nursing home and conveyed that to the board. The board was not concerned about it and convinced me to accept the
offer. i began as the Administrator on January 1, 2018 and currently hold this position. I have passed all of the required examinations
and training requirements but my ticense is being held up by the licensing board untii after my trial. am currently operating under an
emergency permit.

I met my wife, Jane Oberembt Guericke while was a sophomore in college. She was working as a hair stylist in Mitchelt after
graduating from Stewart's school of hair styling in Sioux Falls. We dated for about 3 years and were married on October 27th, 1979.
We made our home in White Lake where I taught school and she worked in the local grocery store. Jane was from a large family and
has 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

We have 3 children Mark who is 36 years old and is engaged to Melinda Krumvedia. They live in White Lake where Mark is a
contractor, has a herd of cattle, sells cattle feed and guides hunters and fishermen. Melinda works as a medical equipment
maintenance person for Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Laura is 27 yers old and is married to Garrett Bergeteen. Laura is
employed as a speech and language pathoiogist for Core Cooperatative in Platte. Her husband Garrett is a contractor and rancher.
They live on an acreage about 15 mites north of White Lake. They have 2 children Shae is 4 and Karl is 2. They are atso expecting
another child in January. Jill is 27 years old and is engaged to Nick Rolfsmeier. They live in Rapid City where Nick is an engineer
working for a fire suppression company and Jili analyzes potential investments for Black Hitls Corporation.

Jane has worked not only in the grocery store but also for the White Lake School as a brailist who prepared materials for and worked
with a blind student. She also ran an Afterschool program for the school after the blind student graduated. She currently works for
Farmers and Merchants state bank in White Lake as a teller.

Jane and are currently and have been members of Trinity Lutheran Church in White Lake for about 36 years where we both have

Both Jane and recently lost our fathers. Jane's father passed away November of 2017 and my father in May of 2018.

Our family tree on my fathers side includes Otto Von Guericke who is credited with inventing the barometer in Madenberg Germany.
