Specifically, the report states the following that led to this investigation: It is alleged that inappropriate supervision contributed to a child becoming unresponsive while in care. A three month old child was placed on their stomach to sleep instead of on their back. The infant was not developmentally able to roll over 746.1201(1) and was found Responsibilities of unresponsive as Employees and Caregivers a result of the -Demonstrate sleeping position. Competency, Good Staff had Judgment, Self-control completed the required Sudden Infant Death training and yet still placed the child in an incorrect sleeping position. Y Staff also were not truthful to Licensing staff about the infant's sleeping position which resulted in the child becoming unresponsive.
