write to resign from the position of Chief of Staff General Counsel of the District. I have
accepted an offer to practice law at a private firm and would like to transition into that role at
the beginning ofthe new year. I will work with you to determine the best date under the
circumstances to be my last date of employment at the District.

This decision was difficult. The work of the District is important to so many Floridians and
assisting you and the Executive Team as you execute the District?s mission is tremendously
rewarding. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of your team. And thank you for your
leadership and friendship these last few years.
