NARRATIVE:
Kent Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened at approximately 0600
hrs this morning. John Hardaway Jr. of Kent had an altercation with his 33-year-old
brother when the brother came to John’s apartment to check John’s well-being. During
the altercation, John Hardaway shot his brother multiple times with a rifle. The victim is
being treated at Akron City Hospital, and his condition is unknown. After several hours
of investigation, along with the assistance of BCI, Kent Police arrested John Hardaway
Jr. and he is charged with Felonious Assault and held without bond.
