It is important to note that as ofthis filing and to the best of my knowledge, the material I have submitted has not been
distributed by the principle. I have not personally distributed any informational material during this six-months period.

I have given several media interviews and spoken at a number of think tanks. I also have a social media account (Twitter)
in which I post Saudi related articles. I also write for two non-US based newspapers. I have also spoken at the Foreign
Service Institute and contributed to a project at the US Department of Defense that seeks input from a wide array of
subject matter experts. Although these activities could potentially benefit the foreign principal, it is important to note that
these are the sorts of activities in which I have been engaged as a scholar oh Saudi Arabia for many years and prior to my
representation ofthe foreign principle. In addition, these activities are not coordinated with or cleared by the foreign
principle. Just as importantly, my contract explicitly states that I am not authorized to speak on behalf or to represent the
foreign principle in anyway. It is also important to note that I mention my consulting relationship with the foreign
principle during all my media interviews and speaking engagements at US government agencies, think tanks and
academic institutions.

5 "Political activity," as defined in Section l(o) of the Act, means any activity that the person engaging in believes will, or that the person intends to, in any way influence any
agency or official of the Government ofthe United States or any section of the public within the United States with reference to formulating, adopting or changing the domestic
